Chill R Z is an accomplished stallion who exhibits careful technique, scope, and speed. He was a finalist as a five and six-year-old at Lanaken with Sven van Dijk. Shortly afterwards he was purchased by Pony Lane Farm and ridden by Charlie Jayne. Together they participated in the World Cup Finals in 2013 and 2014, were selected as alternates for the 2012 Olympic Games and the 2014 World Equestrian Games, and garnered top placings in big money classes like first in the $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS Ocala and second in the $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS Thermal. In 2016, Chill was sold to Eve Jobs and was successfully campaigned until his retirement in 2019 by Eve Jobs and Darragh Kerins.

Chellano Z, Chill R Z’s sire, has sired countless 1.50m and 1.60m offspring as well as many licensed stallions. He finished in the top ten at Lanaken as a six and seven-year-old and went on to place at international show jumping venues like Neumünster, Valkenswaard and Rotterdam. His sire, Contender, is one of the most influential show jumping stallions in the world and his dam, Fayence, is a full sister to the famous stallion Corrado I.

Chill R Z’s dam, Nina R, also produced Quannan-R, a licensed 1.60m stallion by Kannan. Nina R’s grand sire is Lucky Boy xx,  who made significant contributions to Dutch sport horse breeding and he can be found in the pedigree of many of today’s top performance horses.Notable horses he sired were Calypso, Urchin, Logo, Dutch Regard, Revlon Rascal, and Zazou among others. Three of his offspring, Van Gogh, The Freak, and Medrano were all at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The Nation’s Cup at Spruce Meadows in 1987 was won by the United States with three Lucky Boy progeny on the team-  VIP, Victor, and Medrano again. Lucky Boy’s most well-known son is Best of Luck who competed as a Grand Prix jumper in Europe before being imported to the US and becoming a Champion Hunter producer and competitor.

Chill R Z is a wonderful option for American breeders with his valuable bloodlines, jumping technique, and excellent competition record.
