​​​Spy Coast Farm is excited to announce a new family friendly community outreach event called EquiConnect: Community Equine Day. This event will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. at the Spy Coast Farm Equine Education Center and is open to the public. This opportunity will connect the local community to resources available within the equine industry.

 

There will be a free community meal, hands-on learning activities, live horse demonstrations and local non-profit organizations and companies will have tables set up to provide information about resources they can offer.

 

Objectives of the EquiConnect: Community Equine Day include:

 

• Connecting the local community to the Central Kentucky equine industry and local community resources

• Educating the local community to equine related resources related to therapy, education and workforce development

• Showcasing potential equine industry career pathways for employment within the industry​
