An enticing and flashy exterior matched with beautiful technique and a kind disposition, For Dad is an exciting new option for American breeders! In 2024 he moved up to the 1.50m level with Cormac Hanley (IRL) and has experience through CSI3* level with more to come! He exhibits a long elastic stride with a wonderful natural balance and is quick to learn and absorb new information.

 

For Dad's pedigree features classic show jumping sires For Pleasure and Stakkato via his sire and Landadel and Zeus via his dam. For Dad's sire is 1.60m stallion Firth of Lorne (For Pleasure) who won the Longines Global Champions Tour of Hamburg and went double clear in the Nations Cup of Falsterbo with Kathrin Eckermann. He also had a short career with Marcus Ehning and together they won the 3* Grand Prix of Zwolle and the 3* CSI at Nörten-Hardenberg. The majority of his offspring are under 10 years of age, but those that are of jumping age have FEI records 1.30m through 1.60m and even up through CCI3*-L eventing.

For Dad's dam, Lolita, stems from a well rounded damline that has produced successful show jumpers through 1.60m level as well as through Grand Prix level dressage. With his scope and movement, we foresee the offspring of For Dad finding success in all disciplines - show jumping, hunters and eventing.
