Rexar du Houssoit (Ksar-Sitte x Mic Mac du Dieu Demon/Heartbreaker) is a very attractive option for American breeders! He is a compact and sporty stallion with an exceptional damline and has successful 1.50m and 1.60m offspring competing in the EU. His sire, Ksar-Sitte, was the best sire of showjumpers in Italy in 2009 and is by the great and influential Darco. Ksar-Sitte’s dam, Insel Sitte, brings a lot to the table. Her dam, Gute Sitte won the Bronze medal in the Olympic games of Montreal in 1976 with Eric Wauters and was awarded with the title of best showjumper in the world that year. Insel Sitte produced four blacktype horses including 1.60m Cordano Sitte Z and 1.50m Ialta Sitte. Elite performers that can trace their damline back to Insel Sitte include 1.50m Tyson Sitte, 1.60m Callas Sitte Z, 1.60m Ogano Sitte, 1.60m Button Sitte, and 1.60m Aganix du Seigneur along with numerous others.

 

Mic Mac du Dieu Demon, Rexar’s dam, competed up to 1.60m and produced six other blacktype offspring and two other licensed stallions besides Rexar. Offspring include 1.45m Panama du Seigneur, 1.45m Brenda of Mic, 1.45m Groovy Semilly, 1.50m Burdey of Mic, 1.50m Rush On du Houssoit, and 1.55m Fifty Fifty Semilly. This damline is further solidified by the products of Mic Mac's daughters - nine blacktype horses and four licensed stallions including Ben Maher's Tic Tac, Vivaldi du Seigneur, King of Panama Hero Z, and Boyfriend du Seigneur. 

 

​Rexar du Houssoit competed at CSI2* through CSI5* competition throughout his career. He was ridden by Delphine Goemaere (BEL) and Donaat Brondeel (BEL) while in the EU before being imported to the US and campaigned by current owner, Woodacres Stables LLC, before his retirement. His notable offspring in the EU include Atomic Sitte (1.45m), Alcazar Sitte (1.60m), Ami du Housoit (1.50m), Bacardi les Hauts (1.60m), and Brigand des Biez (1.50m).

 

Rexar's US foals have been met with rave reviews! He is consistently adding power and strengthening the back and hind. Offspring have sufficient blood and wonderful temperaments. He has produced several Elite and First Premium Foals for BWP/NAD, NAS, WEST, and GOV.
